The Gemini GMX is a solid entry-level controller that doesn't break the bank. I appreciate the RGB pads—they make cue point and loop management visually clear during live sets. The filter and loop effects work well for basic transitions, though the build feels a bit plasticky. The 16 pads are generous for this price, but the lack of phono inputs means you can't hook up turntables directly. The 24-bit audio is fine for home use, but I wish the USB port were a USB-C instead of the older standard. Overall, it gets the job done for a beginner DJ, but don't expect pro-level durability.
